Pregnant Mamas, you’re in the right place if…
You’re reading the pregnancy books, taking the prenatal classes, trying to prepare yourself mentally and physically.
You’d probably spend every waking hour getting ready for birth if you could, because that’s how much you want this to be a positive experience.
But…
Birth preparation is confusing, and right now it probably feels overwhelming.
- You’re doing all the things. Reading the books. Scrolling the Instagram accounts. Asking your friends about their experiences.
- You’re trying to sort through all the conflicting advice about what to do during labour.
- You’re keeping up with your prenatal appointments and classes.
- You’re trying to stay positive and calm.
But it still feels like you’re missing something.
Not enough clarity on what to actually DO when contractions start, no sense of confidence that your body can really do this, and worse, no clue how to quiet that anxious voice in your head that keeps saying “what if something goes wrong?”
Some nights, you lie awake wondering if you’re really ready. Wondering if you’ll be able to handle it.
This free introduction to hypnobirthing will change that.
I’ll show you exactly why your mind and body are perfectly designed for birth, and what to practice NOW so you feel calm, confident, and ready when labour begins.
What You’ll Learn In This Free Introduction to Hypnobirthing

Why the words you hear (and use) during pregnancy directly impact how you experience birth, and what to say instead to support your body.
✓ Reprogram Fear-Based Birth Stories
How to reprogram 30+ years of fear-based messaging about birth so your subconscious supports you instead of working against you during labour.
✓ Stay Calm So Your Body Can Work Efficiently
The actual physiology behind why staying calm isn’t just “nice to have.” It’s the key to comfortable, efficient labour where your body works in harmony.
✓ An Introduction to the Calm and Confident Mama Course
Get a real feel for the content, the approach, and how the full 4-week live programme works, so you can decide if it’s right for you.
This is for you if…
You are taking your birth preparation seriously, but information alone is not making you feel ready.
You want to feel calm, confident, and mentally prepared, not just physically.
And you want tools you can actually use, not more theory.
You Want to Feel Calm and Confident About Labour
Calm instead of anxious when you think about labour
Confident instead of scared about your body’s ability to birth your baby
Ready instead of overwhelmed by all the “what ifs”
Excited to meet your baby instead of dreading your due date
You’re Tired of Scary Birth Stories and Anxiety
Lying awake at night feeling anxious and unprepared
Hearing scary birth stories that make everything worse
Feeling like birth is something that will “happen to you” instead of something you can work with
Wondering if you’re doing enough to prepare (or if you’re missing something important)
No more guesswork.
In these free introduction to hypnobirthing videos, I’ll walk you through exactly what’s been missing, and how to fill that gap with practical techniques that actually work during labour.
Why This Hypnobirthing Approach Works (and What’s Been Missing From Your Birth Prep)
Most birth preparation focuses on the practical “to‑dos”:
- Read the books
- Pack the hospital bag
- Learn a few breathing techniques
- Trust that “your body knows what to do”
All of that is helpful – but it leaves out the one thing that has the biggest impact on how you actually experience birth:
Your mind.
For most of your life, your mind has been quietly collecting stories about birth:
- Dramatic movie scenes where women scream in pain
- Well‑meaning friends sharing horror stories
- Medical language that sounds scary and out of your control
Those stories don’t just disappear when you get pregnant. They sit in your subconscious, creating tension, fear and doubt – even if you’re doing “all the right things” to prepare.
That’s what’s been missing from your birth prep so far.
This approach is different because it:
- Works with your subconscious, not just your conscious mind. You don’t just “learn about” hypnobirthing – you’ll actually practice simple techniques that begin to rewrite old fear‑based patterns and replace them with calm, supportive beliefs. This is what allows your body to relax and do what it’s designed to do.
- Combines evidence‑based knowledge with practical tools. As a PhD scientist and experienced prenatal yoga teacher, I’ll show you the real physiology behind why being calm isn’t just a “nice idea” – it directly affects your hormones, your muscles and how efficiently labour progresses. When you understand what’s happening in your body, the techniques make sense and are easier to trust.
- Gives you a clear, realistic plan – not vague advice. Instead of “just breathe” or “just relax”, you’ll leave with 3 specific techniques you can start practicing right away. You’ll know exactly what to do when a contraction begins, how to support yourself between surges, and how to stay centred even if your birth takes an unexpected turn.
- Honours every kind of birth. This approach isn’t about chasing a “perfect” birth or forcing everything to go to plan. It’s about helping you feel calm, informed and supported – whether your birth is spontaneous, induced, in hospital, at home, or involves pain relief or interventions. Your mindset and tools stay with you, whatever path your birth takes.
When your mind and body are finally on the same team, everything changes:
- Tension softens
- Fear quiets down
- Your body can get on with the job of birthing your baby
That’s why this approach works, and why it may be the missing piece in the preparation you’ve done so far.
Meet Your Teacher: Krishna Hassomal
I’m a PhD Scientist, Mama of 4, Yoga teacher and KGH Hypnobirthing instructor. This is how I came to this method:
My first birth? I read a hypnobirthing book, took a parenting course, and assumed I was ready. The pregnancy was smooth and I had all the information in my head. Surely that was enough, right?
By week 42, there was no sign of baby coming, so I was induced. I tried to put the theory I’d learned into practice. All the breathing I’d learned from books, the yogic postures… none of it worked. My baby was born 4 days later thanks to an episiotomy and ventose. It left me feeling disappointed, in shock, physically exhausted, mentally drained, and took me weeks to ”fall in love” with my baby.

So when I got pregnant a second time, I knew a positive birth experience was possible. I completely changed my approach.
I didn’t just read about hypnobirthing. I practiced it. Every single day.
The result was a powerful homebirth where my body took over, knowing what to do instinctively at each point in labour. The months of hypnobirthing practice resulted in my body being able to produce the most powerful natural pain relief. I was dozing off in between contractions, with no sensation of pain.
This second birth was transformative. And beautiful.
It left me feeling invincible. I had a new sense of confidence that meant if I could do this, I could do anything.
I didn’t stop there.
My third pregnancy was with twins. I applied the same hypnobirthing course and yoga practices, especially knowing there was a high chance of induction or C-section. This birth resulted in induction and vaginal delivery of both twins without the use of epidurals.
Here’s what I learned:
It’s not about having a “perfect” birth or everything going exactly to plan.
It’s about how you FEEL through the experience.
It’s about your mind working WITH your body instead of fighting against it.
It’s about being calm, present, and trusting yourself, no matter what happens.
That’s what I want for you. And that’s exactly what I’ll teach you in this workshop.
My qualifications:
Certified KGH Hypnobirthing Practitioner (since 2023)
Prenatal & postnatal yoga teacher (since 2013)
PhD scientist with background in Theoretical Chemistry
Mama of 4 with one homebirth and a twin birth in The Netherlands and in Spain.
