You’re Pregnant, You Love to Move, and Right Now Moving Hurts

You’re pregnant. You love to move. And somewhere between the first scan and right now, moving stopped feeling like something you do and started feeling like something you negotiate.

You’re in pain — your back aches, your hips hurt, your pelvis feels like it’s working against you — and you’ve been told it’s normal. That as long as the baby is healthy, you’re fine. So you’ve stopped complaining. You push through. You tell yourself you’re being dramatic.

But you’re also afraid. Afraid that the pain means something is wrong. Afraid that the next movement you do might make it worse. Afraid of how you’re going to get through birth if you’re already struggling to get through a Tuesday.

So you do less. And doing less makes everything tighter. And tighter makes the pain worse. And more pain makes the fear louder.

You’re not being dramatic. You’re stuck in a cycle that nobody has shown you how to break.

This Is What Becomes Possible

These are things my students have said to me. Not promises, their words:

“The pain in my hips when I walk is gone.”

“I’m finally sleeping again.”

“I feel calm and strong and feminine — I didn’t expect to feel like that.”

“I’m surprised I can still do this at 39 weeks.”

None of them had a perfect pregnancy. None of them had an easy run. But they stopped accepting pain and fear as inevitable, and everything changed.

This Workshop Is For You If…

  • You’re pregnant and active — or you were, before the pain made you pull back
  • Your back hurts, your hips ache, or your pelvis feels unstable — and you’ve been told to just accept it
  • You’re not sure what’s safe to do anymore and you’re afraid of making things worse
  • You go to yoga but you’re not getting what you need from it — either it’s too gentle or nobody is addressing your specific pain
  • You want to actually enjoy your pregnancy, not just survive it
  • You want to feel prepared for birth — not just hope for the best

What happens in this free prenatal yoga workshop

This is a live, interactive prenatal yoga workshop. You’ll need your mat, comfortable clothes, and a chair nearby.

We’ll move together, breathe together, and I’ll teach you yoga poses, sequences, and tools that address the specific problems you’re experiencing right now.

You’re not coming to watch a presentation. You’re coming to move, to feel the difference in your body, and to leave with practical tools you can use immediately.

After each section, I open the floor. You bring your specific pain, your specific question, your specific fear, and I give you a yoga solution on the spot. This is the part that makes it different from any pre-recorded class or generic prenatal yoga video you’ve tried before.

We’ll Cover Four of the Biggest Problems Pregnant Women Face

1. Why Does My Back Hurt — And What Can Yoga Do About It?

Upper back, lower back, or both — back pain is one of the most common complaints during pregnancy, and one of the most addressable. You’ll learn what’s actually causing it as your body changes, and we’ll move through a yoga sequence together that targets it directly. This isn’t stretching for the sake of stretching — it’s targeted, intelligent movement that gives your back the support it’s not getting right now.

2. Pelvic Pain During Pregnancy: What You Need to Know

Pelvic pain is one of the most misunderstood experiences of pregnancy — and one of the most undertreated. There’s a lot I can teach you about what’s happening and what to avoid. But I also want to be honest with you: pelvic pain is complex, it’s individual, and it needs more than one workshop and a one-size-fits-all answer. I’ll give you the foundations — and tell you exactly what kind of support to look for if you need to go deeper.

3. Your Pelvic Floor During Pregnancy: What to Do and What to Avoid

Fear of tearing. Fear of prolapse. Fear of a pelvic floor that won’t do what you need it to do during birth or after. These are real fears — and they deserve real answers, not vague reassurance. You’ll learn what your pelvic floor actually needs during pregnancy, what to do, what to stop doing, and the specific exercises that prepare it for birth and recovery. No jargon. No guessing. Just clear, practical guidance you can apply straight away.

4. Fear During Pregnancy: Yoga for a Calmer Mind and Body

Fear of harming your baby. Fear of doing something wrong in a yoga class. Fear of birth and the pain. Fear that your body won’t be able to cope. These fears are real, they’re common, and they deserve more than ‘just relax.’ You’ll learn how to read any movement for safety so the fear of doing something wrong becomes a skill rather than a barrier. And we’ll end with a guided relaxation — a yoga practice specifically designed to release the fear you’ve been carrying, calm your mind, and bring you back to your body.

“Thanks to Krishna I can find peace in my body during my pregnancy!”

I like Krish’s closeness how she inspires confidence. Her sessions have helped me notice areas of my body that I didn’t notice before, and to become aware weekly of the changes that are taking place in my body.

Thanks to the way Krishna teaches, I can be relaxed and I can always be calm. I can find peace with my body and in whatever pose I am in during my pregnancy.

“I’m left smiling and feeling grounded, content and empowered!”

I walk down the street after Krishna’s pregnancy yoga class every week smiling and feeling grounded, content and empowered!

My body feels light and comfortable. She has a deep understanding of the pregnant body and I feel safe following her instructions. She really knows what she is doing!

She has a way of making me feel less scared about the birth and more like my body is feminine and capable! My sessions with her are both physically and mentally beneficial and make me feel great!

“I think the breathing and the awareness that we cultivate in the class will help me when I go through the actual birth!”

Krish was able to show me the types of modifications that I needed and also simple things that I could do at home.

Her classes have helped me maintain my strength and my form. It gets me moving, and I feel really good after the class. Krish’s classes give me an opportunity to take a time to slow down and focus on connecting with the baby.

The breathing and the awareness that we cultivate in the class has helped me with the pregnancy and I think it’ll help me when I go through the actual birth!

Meet Your Guide

I’m Krish.

Mama of four — three pregnancies, including twins. PhD in computational chemistry. Prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher since 2014. KGH Hypnobirthing trainer.

My first pregnancy was perfect on paper. Glowing, practicing yoga until 42 weeks. I thought that was just how pregnancy worked.

My second was completely different. Pain I didn’t expect. A body I didn’t recognise. Nobody who could tell me why it felt so different or what to do about it. I was frustrated, disconnected, and quietly not enjoying something I thought I would love.

My third was twins. I was labelled high risk immediately — no health conditions, nothing actually wrong. But the label made me afraid of my own body. I had sciatica. I had pain in my pelvic bones so intense that turning over in bed felt like an event. My legs were too heavy to stand for long. My wrists were too swollen to put my hands on the floor. Birkenstocks — the widest sandal ever made — were tight on my feet.

And I still practiced. Not because I was heroic about it. Because I had learned by then that stopping wasn’t protecting me — it was making everything worse. The pain got better when I moved correctly. The fear got quieter when I understood what my body was doing.

At the end of that pregnancy — twins, high risk label, sciatica, pelvic pain and all — I felt more prepared and more capable than I had in either of my previous pregnancies.

That is what I want for you. Not a perfect pregnancy. A pregnancy where the pain is addressed rather than accepted, the fear is quieter, and you walk into birth feeling strong, comfortable, and confident — not just hoping for the best.

Your Questions Answered

What if I can’t make the live session?

I know how busy life is! I always encourage joining live to get the most out of the experience, ask questions, and feel the community energy. However, if you register, a replay of the free workshop will be available for 7 days.

I’m a complete beginner and have never done yoga. Is this for me?

Absolutely. This workshop is designed for all levels. The focus is on learning the correct, safe way to move for your pregnant body. I will provide clear instructions and modifications so you feel confident and capable, regardless of your starting point.

I’m an experienced yogi. Will this be too basic for me?

Not at all. Prenatal yoga is a different discipline, even if you have a strong existing practice. The workshop will give you the specific modifications and principles you need to keep your practice safe and effective as your body changes, things that aren’t covered in a standard yoga class. And The Practice afterwards will give you the chance to feel exactly how your training needs to shift.

Is this workshop suitable for the first trimester?

Many women find the first trimester challenging due to nausea and fatigue, so they often don’t feel up to much exercise. For this reason, the workshop focuses on principles that are especially relevant as your body grows. However, the safety principles you’ll learn are valuable for your entire pregnancy, so if you are feeling well and have been cleared by your doctor, you are absolutely welcome to join!

What do I need to prepare for the workshop?

The goal is to be comfortable. Please have a yoga mat (or a soft rug) and wear clothes you can move in. For extra support, I suggest having a couple of pillows or cushions, something to sit on, and a sturdy chair or a birthing ball nearby.

What happens after the workshop? Will I be pressured to buy something?

The workshop is a complete experience on their own. At the end, I will mention my online membership, which is the best way to practice with me on an ongoing basis. There is absolutely no pressure to join. My goal is for you to leave this workshop feeling informed and empowered, regardless of what you decide to do next.
